Our wonderful head bartender is leaving the country. If you have excellent managerial and bartending skills and are interested in shaping this amazing cultural and political project with us, please apply! The job starts at the end of September, training begins ASAP.
The ideal candidate
Has experience as a head bartending or a general manager
Has experience managing staff and scheduling
Has experience tracking inventory and ordering stock
Is excited to execute and build on top of our excellent cocktail program
Detail oriented, responsible, excellent with people
Familiarity with social justice movements a big plus
Training, and scheduling bartender staff
Ordering, stocking and tracking bar inventory
Enforce health code standards and operational standards
Rotate cocktail menu seasonally
Weekly meeting with managing owners
Time commitment and compensation
Average 10 - 15 hours per week outside of regular bar shift
Compensation commensurate with experience
Ability to hold down at least 2 bartending shifts per week and cover gaps
